Each design is made with a special little girl in mind. Grandma's Girl does not use a serger which finishes seams "professionally." Serging removes 3/8 of an inch from each side of the seam which leaves the garment no room for stresses. Traditional seams and hems are wide to allow enough room to let out or let down. Consider adding accessories from other sections of the Grandma's Girl catalog such as aprons and bonnets. All pieces are sold separately.

Browse through the catalog, particularly the sunbonnets sections, and choose fabrics for your dresses from there, or tell me what colors you like and I will email samples to save you a bit of searching.

Pricing and shipping

Each design is priced individually. Starting prices are for newborn sizes and basic cottons/batistes. Additional costs for embellishments will apply. Please contact me to ask about costs for particular embellishments that you may have in mind (e.g. ribbons and trims, ruffles, pockets, buttons, etc.)

Consider having any of these garments made with your own materials for a discount, you pay shipping both ways.

Shipping is normally between $2 and $3 for the first item depending upon size and location, with additional items shipped at about $1 to $1 1/2 each. As always, if you place an order for 3 or more items, you will be refunded any handling charges and you will only pay exact postage (postage and additional post services such as Priority shipping, delivery confirmation, and insurance.)

Garments are shown for style. Materials are your choice and fabrics pictured may or may not be available. When making an inquiry or placing an order, please refer to the catalog number (CATGCL #), color, size, and age of child. I may require additional measurements.
