These sunbonnets find their sweetness in their simplicity of style. They are the most practical way to prevent sunburn on the cheeks and nose, shade eyes, and keep those "things" from getting in the hair while little girls play, explore, and help around the yard.

The bonnets are intended to play in, but some of them might strike you as a nice Sunday or Easter bonnet. Please see the subheadings under this sunbonnet section.

Product details

These pretty sunbonnets are available in prints, solids, and Sunday fabrics. The wide supported visor provides plenty of shade against the sun and little girls can go play without getting dirt in their long hair.

Long ties secure the bonnet firmly and quickly in place.

They wash up nicely as well. They may be machine washed and dried and a quick iron may only be necessary to snap the visor back in place if you leave it in the dryer too long.

All of my daughters have worn these bonnets to the delight of the world around them. I have also made them for some ladies who spend a lot of time in the outdoors. The newborn and adult sizes are made quickly upon your request.

Each style is connected to links for each size. If the size is in stock, clicking on the "In stock" button will open a new browser window to the marketplace where you will be allowed to make your purchase if you decide to do so. Pushing the "In Stock / Buy Now" button does not obligate you to buy anything. It simply takes you to the shop. Otherwise you will be brought to the "contact" form where you will be able to order your size, should you choose to do so. Please copy and paste the catalog number and fabric description to the contact form and be sure to indicate the size.

All bonnets are available in 6 sizes except where indicated that the fabric is limited. When you place an order, be sure you include the size and the catalog number along with the description.

Offering the bonnet in a particular size makes no guarantee that the fabric is still available. Each order reduces the amount of available fabric. I may offer the bonnet in 4 different sizes, but only have enough fabric for one. It will be up to the next customer to decide what size the fabric will be used for. Updates are not immediate. I will do what I can to accomodate each customer within reason.

Pricing and Shipping

A very small newborn size (x-small) is $8.50.
All regular size child bonnets (small, medium, large) are $9.50.
An x-large and junior for older children to teens (or small women) are $10.25.
Women's sizes (medium and large) will be $12.00.
SUNDAY bonnets are priced individually

Requests for a different fabric may change the price as your cost is based upon the cost of my materials.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Shop for your own fabric: I will make bonnet sizes from newborn to preschool with fabric you send to me for $6.50; missy and junior $7.25; and adult sizes $8.00. You pay shipping both ways. Make arrangements

Shipping to any location within the continental United States of America starts at $2.50 via first class mail and includes delivery confirmation and handling charges. Orders of 3 or more items qualify for elimination of handling charges and you will receive a refund after your package is shipped; you pay only the cost of your stamp.
